Chair Yoga: Empowering All Bodies
Chair Yoga is a highly accessible form of yoga in which poses are practiced using the support of a chair. Many believe Chair Yoga is designed for older adults or those with mobility issues, but ultimately it's for everybody.
In this workshop, you will:
Practice a range of seated, standing and balance poses using the chair, and those able to, the use of the wall
Build strength, improve flexibility and find stability
Learn techniques to relieve tension from sedentary behaviour (ie: desk workers)
Understand how to modify poses to suit your needs, whether that's due to mobility, injury or health concerns
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a first-timer, living with a disability, a desk worker or somewhere in between, learn techniques designed to improve your overall health and well-being.
Open to all levels and abilities.
